From May 21 to 23, 2026, on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and with the support of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, a large-scale nationwide concert and touring project “HALYK AUENI” was implemented.

Within the framework of the project, leading creative ensembles subordinate to the Ministry went on tour across 17 regions of the country. As part of the touring program, artists of the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova visited the Aktobe, Almaty, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Turkestan, and East Kazakhstan regions.

Concert programs were held not only in regional centers but also in district centers and rural settlements, presenting audiences with the best examples of national and contemporary art.

Over the three days of the project, more than 20,000 spectators attended the concerts. The initiative received a particularly warm response from residents of remote districts and rural areas, where the artistic groups were welcomed with great warmth and sincere gratitude.

Leading creative ensembles of the country participated in the project, including the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments, the “Saltanat” State Dance Ensemble, the “Qazaqstan Kamertasy” chamber music ensemble, soloists of the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater, the “Otyrar Sazy” orchestra named after N. Tlendiev, the State Wind Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Choir Capella named after B. Baykadamov, the “ASTANA SAZY”, “SAZ AND SOUL”, and “SALT SOUND” ensembles, the “ASTANA MUSICAL” theater, the “GULDER” ballet, and other collectives.

The project featured traditional songs, folk music, symphonic works, pop programs, musicals, and choreographic performances. In addition, renowned artists and representatives of creative ensembles conducted masterclasses and creative meetings in regional cultural institutions and art schools.

“HALYK AUENI” became a significant cultural initiative aimed at promoting national musical heritage, strengthening cultural ties between regions, and developing the country’s cultural space.
