With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the song and dance ensemble “Birlik” of the Rosa Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” took part in the opening ceremony of the 36th Macau Arts Festival on May 8, presenting Kazakhstan’s national culture on the international stage.

The ensemble, which promotes interethnic harmony and cultural unity, introduced international audiences to the spiritual heritage and traditional art of the Kazakh people.

As part of the opening ceremony, folk dances from various regions of Kazakhstan were presented. The “Birlik” ensemble also performed alongside creative groups from Macau, highlighting the importance of cultural dialogue and international cooperation.

This year, the festival was held under the theme “New Waves of Inspiration”, bringing together artists from Italy, Portugal, Kazakhstan, and other countries around the world.
