EDUCATION:

1993–1997 – Kazakh Women’s Pedagogical University, Faculty of Music, Choreography Department; graduated with honors.

1999–2000 – Studied at Kathak Kendra Dance University in Delhi, India, as part of professional development.

    CREATIVE ACHIEVEMENTS:

1992 – Grand Prix winner of the regional “Kyz Syny” competition in Zhambyl Region.

1999 – Laureate of the “Almaly-99” Festival in Almaty.

2000 – First Prize winner at the international student festival “ISSR” in Delhi, India.

2003 – Third Prize laureate at the International Youth Creative Festival “Shabyt.”

2006 – Held her first solo creative evening “Bi erkesi – Perizat” at the Qazaqconcert stage in Almaty.

2009 – Laureate of the 6th International Youth Creative Festival “Shabyt”

2012 – Awarded the title of Culture Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2015 – Held her second creative evening “Biyim menin – biyik syn” dedicated to Kazakh dance, at the Qazaqconcert stage.

2013–2020 – Headed her own dance school “OMARBEKOVA DANCE” training approximately 100 students.

2020 – Awarded the “Shapagat” Medal by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2022 – Awarded the “Kurmet belgisi” and “Madeniet maytalmany” badges by the Union of Public Figures of Kazakhstan.

2025 – Held her third solo anniversary dance evening “Bi-padisha” in Astana.

Performer of Kazakh national dances and dances of the peoples of the world. Her repertoire includes approximately 30 solo dances.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

1997–1999 – Dance instructor in the Choreography Department of the Faculty of Music at the Kazakh Women’s Pedagogical University.

Since 1999 – Solo dancer at the Qazaqconcert concert organization.

2016–2017 – Solo dancer with the “Gulder” Song and Dance Ensemble.

2019–2020 – Choreographer and teacher at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (part-time).

2019–2021 – Teacher-choreographer at the Uzynagash School of Arts (part-time).

Since 2020 – Solo dancer with the “Alatau” Traditional Arts Theatre (part-time).

Currently – Top-category solo dancer at the Almaty branch of the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova.
