The poet’s son Zhuldyz Makataev and daughter-in-law Bakytkul Makataeva attended the event as special guests.

The State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova hosted the literary and musical evening “Qazaǵym-ai”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh poet Mukagali Makataev.

During the event, the audience enjoyed the poet’s heartfelt verses filled with deep emotion and love for his homeland, accompanied by live musical performances that created an unforgettable atmosphere. The concert program featured beloved songs well known to the public.

Among them were “Aıtatyn saǵan syrym bul”, “Ayaǵoz aru”, “Japyraq júrek jas qaiyń”, “Sábi bolǵym keledi”, “Men dep oıla”, “Esińe meni alǵaısyń”, “Tuǵan ólke”, “Otan”, “Sarjaiylau” and others.

The evening featured performances by Honored Workers of Kazakhstan Kurmash Makhan, Tolganbai Sembaev, Medet Salykov, Klara Tolenbayeva, Erlan Rysqali, recipient of the “Eren eńbegi úshin” badge Altynshash Mukatayeva, laureates of the “Daryn” State Youth Prize Adilkhan Makin and Kunsulu Turikpen, recipient of the “Madeniet salasynyń úzdigi” badge Perizat Turarova, as well as laureates of republican and international competitions Alikhan Duisenbai, Talgat Allaberinov, Zhasulan Nauryzbaiuly, Zhaslan Karim, Nurai Mykty, Nursesim Samatqyzy, Birzhan Aitakhmet, Diana Altaiqyzy, Aidos Saniyazbek, Dariya Bekpenbet, Akbope Alibekova and Zhasulan Kopbergen.

The State Theatre “Astana Musical”, the Kazakh State Folklore Ensemble “Astana sazy”, the band “SAZ&SOUL”, and the ballet of the “Gulder” ensemble also performed at the event.
