A Musical Evening Dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Ali Alpysbaev Was Held at Qazaqconcert

The State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova hosted a musical evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of renowned composer, conductor, holder of the Orders of “Kurmet” and “Parasat,” and Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Ali Alpysbaev.
During the event, the composer received a congratulatory letter from Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“Your high professional mastery and creative pursuits have expanded the horizons of national musical art and significantly contributed to promoting Kazakh culture on the international stage. Your dedicated service to the arts and contribution to the country’s spiritual development are highly valued,” the letter reads.
Ali Alpysbaev is the author of more than 50 songs and numerous works for various musical instruments. His creative work combines traditional national melodies with contemporary music. He is also the organizer of the International Conductors’ Competition “Altyn Taiaqsha” and the Mukhan Tulebayev Vocal Competition “Kesteli Oramal.”
The composer is a recipient of a state grant and a multiple laureate of the republican competition “Elim Menin.” In 2015, he participated in the VI Republican Competition of New Musical Works “Tәuelsizdik Tolgauy,” where his symphonic poem “Orbulaq Tany” was awarded the Grand Prix.
Ali Alpysbaev’s work has received high international recognition. He has toured in Russia, China, and Turkey, and introduced Kazakh musical art to international audiences at the VIII World Arts Festival in Poland.
