With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a large-scale gala concert “FOLK SHOW” dedicated to the closing of the 65th concert season was held on June 27, 2026, at the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova.

“FOLK SHOW” is a unique project aimed at promoting national musical heritage in a modern form. The author and conductor of the project is Adilet Azbayev laureate of national and international competitions, Honored Worker of Culture, and a prominent representative of contemporary musical art.

The gala program featured world hits, soundtracks from well-known films and TV projects, as well as widely recognized works of Kazakh musical culture performed by the Kazakh State Folklore Ensemble “Astana Sazy”, the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra, and the G-BAND group.

The concert also brought together the “Gulder” Dance Ensemble, “Birlik” Dance Ensemble, the creative team of the State Theater “Astana Musical”, and renowned artists of Qazaqconcert including Yerbol Tazhibayev, Aizada Kemel, Altynshash Mukatayeva, Olzhas Kurmanbek, Didar Abdukhalyk, Zhanna, Nurken Yakiyaev, Samgar Tolkynkhanuly, and others.

The program included musical compositions such as “Qazaq Symphony”, “Shal”, “KZ Hits”, “Childhood”, works dedicated to Batyrkhan Shukenov, the “Qazaqsha Trend” cycle, the legendary kui “Adai” by Kurmangazy - part of the golden fund of Kazakh music as well as global hits and iconic film soundtracks including “La La Land”, “Titanic”, “Game Evolution”, “Game of Thrones”, “All-in”, and “Bollywood Medley”. The audience also enjoyed vibrant choreographic performances.

The main goal of the concert was the wide promotion of national musical art and demonstration of the creative potential of traditional musical instruments. Concluding its 65th concert season, Qazaqconcert successfully combined traditional art with modern musical trends, offering nearly a thousand spectators vivid emotions and unforgettable impressions, and bidding farewell to the audience until the new season.

At the end of the evening, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Qazaqconcert team was awarded the recognition mark “Flowers of appreciation”.
