With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Academic Concert Organization Roza Baglanova Qazaqconcert hosted the “FOLK SHOW” concert on May 29.

Led by the project’s creator and conductor, Adilet Azbayev, the performance featured the Kazakh State Folklore Ensemble “Astana Sazy,” artists of the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra, the group “G Band,” performers of the “Gulder” Ensemble, as well as other renowned artists of Qazaqconcert.

During the concert, popular Kazakh musical works were presented in a new format. The program also included world-famous musical hits and soundtracks from well-known films.

The repertoire featured such compositions as “Adai,” “Makhambet,” “Balalyk Shak,” and “Makhabbat Beketi,” alongside soundtracks from the films Taxi, Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy, and Gladiator.

The “FOLK SHOW” project became one of the highlights of the concert season.

It is worth noting that on June 27, as part of the Gala Concert marking the closing of Qazaqconcert’s 65th concert season, the “FOLK SHOW” program will once again be presented to audiences in an expanded format.
