From 18 to 23 June 2026, the State Trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan “FORTE TRIO”, of the State Academic Concert Organization “Qazaqconcert” named after Roza Baglanova, participated in the “Earth & East Festival” in the Kingdom of Norway.

The ensemble consisted of Artistic Director Timur Urmancheyev, violinist Maxat Jussupov, and cellist Murat Narbekov.

As part of the festival, the Kazakh musicians performed alongside renowned soloists and artistic ensembles from various countries, representing Kazakhstan's distinguished performing arts tradition on the international stage.

One of the highlights of the visit was “FORTE TRIO”'s solo concert held at the “Store Festsal Concert Hall” in Oslo. The program featured masterpieces of the international classical repertoire as well as works reflecting the richness of Kazakhstan's musical heritage.

The concert attracted significant interest from members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of Norway's cultural and artistic community, members of the Kazakh diaspora, and admirers of classical music.

The participation of the State Trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan “FORTE TRIO” in the “Earth & East Festival”, together with its concert performances in Oslo, marked an important step in promoting Kazakhstan's musical culture on the international stage. The project contributed to strengthening Kazakhstan's positive international image and fostering the further development of international cultural cooperation.
