FORTE TRIO, the national trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is back on the road. The beloved Kazakh ensemble is conducting its annual summer concert tour of Europe.

On July 17, the musicians opened their tour with a concert in the French city of Castres as part of the 21st "À Portée de rue" classical music festival. The performance took place in the historic center of the ancient city, on a picturesque platform in front of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Platée church. Timur Urmancheyev (artistic director, piano), Maksat Dzhusupov (violin), and Murat Narbekov (cello) captivated the audience with their virtuoso performances of works by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and pieces from the national repertoire.

The next stop on the European tour was Poitiers, where on July 22, FORTE TRIO also presented their program to great acclaim to the French public, introducing them to the high art of distant Kazakhstan.

According to the heads of the organizing committee of the International Music Festival, the musicians presented a program that organically combined great classical art with national Kazakh traditions: “The trio presented the audience with a virtuoso performance, demonstrating deep musical mastery and the sophistication of the ensemble.
